White Rooster

This original watercolor portrays a proud white rooster, inspired by the hens and roosters in the park near my home. I often return there to observe their movements and expressions, and this particular bird’s posture and steady gaze caught my attention. I wanted to capture that dignified, self-assured presence in soft watercolor washes. Layered brushstrokes give the feathers a light, airy texture, while the vivid red comb creates a lively focal point.
