I paint to celebrate the quiet perfection of nature and the small wonders hidden in everyday life.
I am a painter with an academic background in fine arts. My artistic journey began with classical training in drawing and painting, where I learned to observe the world through light, form, and color. For many years, I worked as a designer, developing a strong sense of composition and visual storytelling.
After years in design, I felt the need to return to painting — to reconnect with the essence of my creativity. Today, watercolor is my primary medium. I value its spontaneity, transparency, and sensitivity to mood, while acrylic remains a space for texture and exploration. My process is guided by intuition as much as by skill, allowing the subject to change with the feeling of the moment.
My inspiration often comes from nature, animals, and landscapes — especially northern light and the calm atmosphere of Scandinavia. Through painting, I seek to capture both the quiet beauty of everyday life and a gentle sense of imagination, offering viewers a moment of reflection, warmth, and comfort.
